Brief info
A former career diplomat, Mihai Patru is currently a Senior Policy Fellow at School of Public Policy, University of California in Riverside, where he has designed and developed the first social entrepreneurship pre-accelerator for very early stage entrepreneurs. Mihai co-founded Mozaïque, a social business supporting artisans and handworkers in remote communities around the world to gain financial predictability. His work with Mozaïque focuses on exploring new ways of engaging artisans and enhance their entrepreneurship potential. He is also the Executive Director of Caravanserai Project – a non-profit organization aiming at supporting grassroots social change makers along their journeys, thus giving him the opportunity to work with changemakers in the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Romania, Kenya, Uganda, and the US.
