Producer of The New Fashion Podcast
Juliane Ding is a junior from Swarthmore College as a Political Science and Studio Art student. As someone who is an experienced mural painter and art therapist, she has expanded her interests into sustainability and art, working with sustainable fashion nonprofits and the Sundance Institute. Recently, she received the Project Pericles grant to curate a post-conflict social innovation project in Hiroshima in centering hibakusha testimony to connect the international audience to get involved in anti-nuclear weapon advocacy. Interested in storytelling, she hopes to use design, art, and media to raise awareness for various platforms such as sustainability, fast fashion, prison reform, and educational reform policies.
